Event details
Every Thanksgiving, a few million people lace up for the Turkey Trot. And every Thanksgiving, a few of us slip out the side door, take the long way around the block and come back hungry. That one has never had a start line, a finish line, or a medal. This year, it does.
We are hosting the first ever Cousin Walk around Tompkins Square Park. The first 100 people to arrive will receive a commemorative Cousin Walk t-shirt.

Cross the line. Finish on St. Marks Pl, claim your Pathfinder stash can “medal”, do a shot of Pathfinder, then head into Romeo’s and stay a while.

FAQ
Is it really free?
Yes. No fee, no catch.
How far is it?
One lap around Tompkins Square Park. About twelve minutes at a stroll.
Do I have to be fast?
There is no timing chip, no bib and no personal best. Walking slowly is arguably the point.
Can I bring people?
Bring your cousins. Bring your fake cousins. Just ask them to fill out the RSVP form too.
What if I don’t partake?
Come anyway. It is a walk with friendly people and Pathfinder N/A drinks to be had by all.
How old do I need to be?
21+.
Is there a bathroom?
Yes, in the park or at Romeo’s.
Do I have to sign anything?
No, you do not since you will be consenting to be photographed or filmed during the event via your RSVP submission.
Am I going to end up in a photo?
Probably. There will be a photographer and some phones capturing moments throughout the event. RSVP'ing covers consent — find one of us in a staff shirt on the day if you'd rather stay out of frame.
What do I wear?
It's November in New York. Layer up, wear comfortable shoes, and we’ll hand you a shirt to put on over the top (if you are one of the lucky first 100 to arrive).
